Mattias Lahtinen
I’m Mattias. In 2012, I left Malmö, Sweden, with a one-way ticket to Ireland and a goal to break into IT. What started as answering support tickets quickly turned into a career spanning three countries, multiple backend architectures, and a lot of solved puzzles.
My career has taken me through Dublin, Brașov, Bucharest, and finally Brno, where I currently work as a Technical Operations Engineer at 2K. Along the way, I’ve worked with companies like IBM, HP, and Microsoft. I’ve managed high-stakes incidents, led support teams, and kept the lights on for critical infrastructure.
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years, but my core focus has never changed: I love diving into weird, complex technical issues, building smart automation to replace tedious manual tasks, and helping operational teams run like a well-oiled machine.
